By Sea: Portland Marina is situated at the South West corner of Portland Harbour. Please enter the harbour via the Northern entrance then follow the fairway buoys to the marina entrance. Please call the marina on VHF Channel 80 / tel 08454 30 2012.
By Car: Take the A31 towards The West, Poole, Bournemouth, at Roundhouse Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A31 signposted Dorchester. At roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A35 Signposted Honiton. Take the 1st exit onto the A354 signposted Weymouth. The A354 will bring you to Portland just follow the signs.
By Foot: From Portland Castle a gentle stroll along the promenade takes approximately 10 minutes. From Wyke Regis, a brisk walk along the old train route, watch the sailors, wind surfers and kite surfers making the most of Portland’s waters and wind currents. Approximately a 30 minute walk. Just stroll towards the three wind turbines, we are just beneath them, next door to Portland Marina's head office.
By Air: Bournemouth Airport is the closest airport to Portland. Join a train at Bournemouth Train Station and you are an hour from Weymouth Station. Both Exeter airport and Southampton airport are also within easy striking distance to us for additional travel options.
By Train: Join the train at London Waterloo, alight at Weymouth Station the journey takes approximately 3 hours . There is a taxi rank at the station with an approximate travel time to us of 15 minutes.
Car Park: There is a free car park at Portland Marina for guests of The Boat That Rocks. The barrier comes down if there is a sailing event on to dissuade the overspill from other car parks. Please just press the buzzer and let the marina know you are dining with us. On leaving the barrier raises automatically.
